The Teak Museum is located 4 km from the town of Nilambur in the Malappuram district of the southern Indian state of Kerala. Teak is found in India and the main teak forests are in the state of Kerala. Teak plantation in Nilambur. In addition to detailed information on the use of teak wood, the exhibition also includes items related to the subject. The museum offers valuable information about history, art and science. The museum was established at the headquarters of the Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) in 1995 due to the historical importance of teak wood to the region. The world's first tree was planted in Nilambur by the British in 1840. It is one of the most popular trees in the world and has unique characteristics such as its size, functional length and special color. Nilambur teak is said to be resistant to fungal diseases and also has antioxidant properties.
